PROGRAMMER & GAME DEVELOPER
Hey there, I'm Neriah! My ID online is Keyyva.
I'm a programmer, game developer and artist who graduated from the 3 year Game Programming course at Humber College in Apr 2018.
My main skill set is in game development and software programming. Though I'm also capable of websites and IT work.
Additionally, I have skills in 3D art (Blender and 3ds Max) being modeling, rigging, weight painting, animation and UV unwrapping.
My other interests are: motorcycles, rock/metal music, photography/video/audio, animals and performing circus acts (yo-yo, devil/flower sticks, spinning plates).
Models and Animations
3D modelling, rigging, UV unwrapping and animations is how my quest to be a game developer started. I specialize in low poly models, designed with performance and animation in mind.
03 Experience & Education
Game Programming Advanced Diploma with Honours
Successfully completed in 3 years, the Game Programming course covered multiple subjects in game development. This includes: programming in multiple languages, mobile apps, websites, programming a game engine with OpenGL, game design, data structures, design patterns and more.
Humber Final Project
Created in Unity, multiple steps of game development were covered during this project: game design, 3D models, animations, gameplay programming, shaders and music/audio.
Mobile Final Project
Developed in xCode with the Swift programming language, version control (git) was used throughout the entire span of development. Code structure, expandability and clean code were the main points of focus for this project.

Lead Visual Effects
A game developed in Unreal Engine by the entire 2017 programming and art class students. My role was lead visual effects - I was responsible for implementing and creating Unreal Engine particles as well as keeping organization within the visual effects team.
This project gave experience with working in large teams, handling time management for multiple people and holding daily scrum meetings with the visual effects team.
Global Game Jam 2017
Artist and Team Member
With a 48 hour timeline and a group of 4 people, we collaborated to create Crowd Mentality. I was responsible for 3D modelling, rigging, weight painting, animation, unwrapping and texturing.
Porter and Crew Member
As a porter, I socialized with customers, worked independently, and handled the cleaning and maintenance of the building. As a crew member, I worked with a team to prepare customer orders in a timely manner.
